The offices of BA Harrison management/Creative Ad Solutions are located in the Henry Jones IXL development, a building that has been transformed from industrial splendour to a contemporary corporate and tourism icon.
On the very site where Governor Collins settled Hobart Town in 1804, Hunter Street’s row of handsome stone warehouses have been creatively restored to be the hub of the waterfront precinct. Hunter Street forms the northern perimeter of Hobart’s picturesque Victoria Dock, where dozens of fishing boats berth between voyages to the Southern Ocean. On the other side of Sullivans Cove, Salamanca Place is the southern “book end” to Tasmania’s most visited precinct.
Once home to the IXL jam factories, these old warehouses have been redesigned to retain the existing buildings’ steel and timber structures and as well as our offices, also house the impressive multi-award winning Henry Jones Art Hotel.
Our office is accessed via the new IXL Courtyard, the latest addition within the Henry Jones development. It was officially opened in 2007 and our offices have been located here since July 2009.
