BA Harrison Management and The Hobart Media Centre are proud to present AUSTRALIAN singing sensation Guy Sebastian, who will give a unique up close and personal performance in the forest at Forestry Tasmania’s Tahune AirWalk on Saturday March 13.
Lucky fans who secure tickets, on sale from Monday, will not only see Sebastian perform in a picturesque outdoor setting, they will be able to meet and talk with the talented singer songwriter who will also sign autographs and pose for photos.
The intimate acoustic performance is on the back of Sebastian’s national tour in conjunction with the release of his fifth studio album since he became the first Australian Idol winner in 2003.
Like it Like That was recorded in Los Angeles and New York in the first half of last year and is the latest in a line of multi-platinum selling albums for the artist whose voice has won the hearts and minds of people across Australia.
Mainland audiences will experience Sebastian’s vocal magic in auditorium settings such as the Perth Entertainment and Adelaide Convention Centres, QPAC Concert Hall, Hamer Hall in Melbourne and the State Theatre in Sydney during February.
But for the Tasmanian audience in March it will be a much more intimate affair with the stage to be set up at the Huon Pine Walk, one of the most picturesque areas of Forestry Tasmania’s Tahune AirWalk.
Before the performance Sebastian will take time to mingle and chat with the crowd in a relaxed and informal way.
Hobart Media Centre General Manager Antony Manton said the centre is thrilled to be part of such an exciting event for Tasmania.
“To be able to present an artist of the calibre of Guy Sebastian is an incredible opportunity,” he said.
“We have harnessed the combined power of Southern Cross Television, Heart 107.3 and SeaFM – and we believe that a nationally and internationally recognised artist like Guy is worthy of such a unified strategy.
“We also are particularly excited about Forestry Tasmania’s Tahune AirWalk as a venue for the event – the intimate and unique Tasmanian setting should only enhance what is sure to be a fantastic day.”
Tickets are: $56 for adults, $46 for children and $175 for families and are available online at www.adventureforests.com.au
